Return Policy

At Maeven London, we do everything we can to keep our customers satisfied. If you would like to return a product, please read our returns policy carefully below. If in doubt, always contact us first at info@maevenlondon.com , we are happy to help find a solution.

1. How We Work

Maeven London operates on a direct-from-supplier model. To reduce waste and minimise our CO₂ emissions, we do not hold large amounts of stock ourselves. Items are shipped directly from our supplier based in China. This means that returns must also be sent to our supplier's return address in China.

2. Return Period and Registration

  • You can register a return within 30 days of receiving your order by emailing info@maevenlondon.com.
  • Returns can only be registered once you have physically received the item.
  • Please always include your order number and a valid reason for the return.
  • Once approved, we will provide you with the return address of our supplier.

3. Return Conditions

  • A valid reason for the return is always required.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged and returned in their original condition, with all tags and labels still attached.
  • Trying items on is permitted; wearing them beyond that is not.
  • Sale items cannot be returned without a valid reason.
  • Deliberately ordering multiple sizes with the intention of returning part of the order is not permitted.
  • Certain items are excluded from returns for hygiene reasons, including underwear, swimwear and jewellery, unless unopened and unused.
  • If you receive a defective or damaged item, or if the packaging shows visible damage, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Claims submitted after this period cannot be processed.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

4. Return Costs and Process

  • All return costs are the responsibility of the customer, including international shipping costs and any customs charges.
  • Items must be returned to our supplier's return address in China.
  • The customer is responsible for arranging, paying for and tracking the return shipment.
  • We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method. Without proof of postage, we are unable to process your return.

5. Friendly Alternative Solution

As international returns can be costly and time-consuming, we are always happy to look for a suitable alternative solution together, such as a partial refund or discount, agreed by email. Please always contact us first at info@maevenlondon.com before sending anything back.

6. Defective, Incorrect or Damaged Item

If something is wrong with your order, for example the size, fit or quality, please send us an email within 14 days of receiving your order, including clear photographs and a description of the issue. Without photographs and a description we are unable to process your complaint and no right to return or refund exists. Once we have received this information, we will work to find a suitable solution as quickly as possible.

7. Refunds

A refund can only be issued once the item has been received and approved at the return address in China. Once approved, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days via the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

8. Cancellations

It is not possible to cancel an order once it has been placed and is being processed. No refund or chargeback can be opened before the item has actually been received. If you have a question or issue with your order, please contact us first at info@maevenlondon.com rather than opening a chargeback or refund request directly.

9. Liability

  • We are not responsible for lost parcels if the tracking information confirms that the item was delivered to the address provided by the customer.
  • An incorrectly provided address is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Any errors in the address must be reported within 24 hours of placing the order via info@maevenlondon.com.
